Susan Isaacs

Susan Isaacs (Storyteller) is an actor, writer, and Groundlings alumna with many credits in TV and film, including John Candy’s wife in Planes, Trains and Automobiles and a recurring role on “Parks and Recreation” as Martha, Pawnee’s finest realtor. Her memoir, Angry Conversations with God, was named a best book of the year by Publisher’s Weekly. She turned it into a solo show and won the Best Adaptation award at the United Solo Theater Festival in New York. Susan cowrote the rom-com feature Sun Moon, currently streaming in the Sony platform. She is on the screenwriting faculty at Chapman University’s Dodge College Film School. She and her husband have lived in Sierra Madre for 14 years. She loves tea and hates kale.
